I stumbled upon this game when looking through itch.io for my next fright. I was intriqued by the graphics and the notion that this might be the Haunted Winchester house. Did I accurately guess the association or was it just me looking too deep into it? Needs a bit more work due to bugs, but great for a game jam game.

Hey panda, first off thank you for playing!! Second, sorry for the year long wait for any reply... that's all on me.

So you actually got past the only bug that I know of. There's actually 1 additional sheet you had to read inside the library room that activates the next part of the game (it's in the left hallway section when you go in the door), but you're totally right - it's been several years since the game was created. I might go back into it and fix a few things in the future, and will bump a comment here if I decide to do that. I have a few things I could fix if I can get the environment set back up, but that is likely to be problematic.

I super enjoyed watching your video, and thank you for all the positive comments. I did giggle quite a lot about the struggle with drawers opening. I knew it was bad, but since it was my first game and it was sort of bound to be a struggle in some way. Even I struggled to get drawers open at times when testing.

The lack of clear direction of how to progress was partly due to my novice game design, partly a part of the "adventure" aspect, and partly lack of time to sort those issues if I was even thinking of them. Regardless, thanks again for playing, and sorry for the issues! It gives me insight into player behavior and thoughts and helps me build better games!

Can you make a mac version of the game?

After the piano room when I wake up in the bathroom, all the doors are locked and I have nowhere to go. :(   The door where Robin and Mrs. Hannover left says Interact but nothing happends.

This bug was found recently. Unfortunately, I cannot easily fix it. The way around this is to restart and go in the door Robin and Hannover leave in and then go through the piano room after the library scene.

I apologize that this has caused you some headache!

Really awesome stuff. Great gameplay, visuals and sound effects coupled with some genuinely creepy moments. Nicely done.
